Release date: August 3rd, 2021
Label: Sick Rites
Long awaited release by the band since the full length and this is pretty interesting as it comes off like a concept release as the first two tracks are instrumentals but after that it goes into what the band delivers and it’s all good from there.
The packaging for this is very nice as I have the tape version and the artwork is excellent and the music is tight as hell in the vein the band has proven in the past.
To me this is one of those bands that don’t get the recognition they deserve as others on the scene, and I hope this release gets an upgrade to another format in the future so more people can get a copy as this is some good material.

Here we have this new death thrash outfit and their first release an EP of six tracks that will devastate you, this is one of those releases that hit me full force the first time I heard it.
From the opening of Necromancy it came across with an old school feel and what else really is good are the vocals very distinctive compared to most on the scene yes, they rule! a killer opener that goes directly into Vomiting Death and with some heavy riffage at the start this thing gets better as it goes the pounding on here is just right, even with the slight tempo change thrown in this cuts deep.
A bit different at the start of Hidden Rituals but it’s another killer as the motions it takes you through are hell filled with intensity, I really enjoyed this one, its quick and short and to the point as we roll onto Only Death Is Real and here I hear that classic Swedish death metal tone and another dimension of the band is felt as well, some killer shit!
Heavy pounding start on Voices from the Underworld but then the bashing begins as this will sweep you off your ass, with some great hooks in here this never really lets up of you, and to close Flame of Death and no let down at all this has all the goods injected into it and weird how it Justs stops, and a bass solo rides it out.
All I can say of all the new bands I heard this year this band is the one that takes the reign this opus will slay you, highly recommended!!
Throneum / Ejecutor
Release date: October 2021
Label: Morbid Ways to Die / Apocalyptic Productions / Triom / Dark Recollections Productions
Ejecutor have teamed up with Poland’s Throneum for this special split in memory of NecroTerror (bass player for Ejecutor), who passed away on September 11, 2021. and both bands are two different genres, so it was interesting to hear what was offered here, the 3 tracks from Throneum are bombastic the two originals they contribute here really punishing Trois frères is some really off the wall shit that I had to listen to a few times to get the feel for the whole thing and it continues on Kaang the Praying Mantis as this has a more straight forward feel to it with a ripping lead in it and my pick for their best one, they end their half with a cover of I Wanna Be Your Dog by The Stooges and if you heard the original this is way over the top so be prepared.
Ejecutor is whole new thing when it comes on the opener Armaggedon is just a crushing piece that you can hear that sound this band has been delivering since they started, the chorus of Armaggedon! will get stuck in your brain, love it! La entidad is more intense from the start but has some breaks in it but it hammers down as this fucker is mean as hell, the drumming oh here really comes to light and solid as fuck.
Ritual de protección is one of those tracks the band have gotten a feeling for of spreading a message and they do here it’s short and sweet and the point is set. And they finish with Primordial (Mortuary Drape cover) and they do a great job on it that topped this release to a great end.
A great tribute to our fallen comrade, the mix of styles from both bands might not be for everybody but the Ejecutor is a must for the fans of the band, hopefully we get more from them next year.

Here is a death/thrash band I came across and looked into and they been around since 1994 but as I looked deeper into them this is the only release they are credited for.
Nine tracks on here and this release has a lot of variation on it, Fundation of Humanity (Instrumental) starts this out and its pretty catchy as its a mid pace composition that has a good drive as it goes into Southern Path/Ancestral Legacy and this opens up with a slow heavy tempo but then it builds up and here the vocals come in and we get the taste of death as the track just has this crunchy texture to it then some leads are thrown in that make it even more enjoyable and near the end the pace gets faster which ended this on a high note.
Brotherhood of the Serpent, comes in a bit more on the harder edge as the drums are being pounded to hell then minor break where it takes us on another dimension of the track as it has a good drive and its a solid piece, as Death’s Shadow is a killer riffage fiasco as this is all over the place, a bit more aggression on this one.
And as we get into Blue Blood and this up to this point is one of the highlights on here for me, as this has more fast parts in it and gets to the point and even with some breaks near the end made this stand out and the drive continues on Pit of the Abyss as this has this main way presenting itself as the track has these heavy riffs while a lead is going off, good stuff.
Sarcastic Existence (Instrumental) and a very pleasant one as it has quite a few parts in here that just grab you, I wouldn’t even call it that extreme but on the heavy glory side as the way it was composed is excellent! Masters of Time closes this out and a good one as this has some interesting parts as its quite long but very catchy especially the leads that are put in here, a good closer to this.
In closing this might not be for everybody as its not your typical all out bash of death/thrash like other bands are doing but this has all kinds of elements throughout it that made it listenable to my ears as its has a lot of heavy metal in it which is good as it takes you to another dimension not many bands from the area are doing, so I would give it a listen.
Well after a shit year the only good thing was there was plenty of great releases put out and here are my picks and it wasn’t easy, but Orion for me took the honor just a classic album of pure death thrash but this list has black metal, death metal, death/thrash black/thrash all that good shit!
I basically gathered the best full lengths, EP, Splits and demos, you may ask why I praised some demos in my reviews but didn’t make the list, well maybe how many tracks featured or it was the bands first effort but if you get mentioned here take it as a compliment as I only list bands that I see potential in and get an honorable mention like Hell Possession, Ashakk Xul, Deconsekrated, To Death, etc. and some stuff I can’t even get like the full length from Ares Kult and even contacted the band but told me the label has the rights to the release and can’t even buy a digital copy, pretty fucking sad if that’s the case.
This list was made from what bands sent me and what I could gather on my own as there is a wave of bands out there and I just can’t get to it all, if you have something you think I should listen to just let me know its that simple.
At the bottom is a video of a track from each release so 21 as a split made the cut, cheers!

Well its been a while since I heard from these guys and their EP from 2016 really impressed me so I been waiting for this the first things I noticed the production on here is more clearer than before and they have a new vocalist.
So from the start Hordas Putrefactas is heavy as hell and the aggression is impressive as this tears in then a more slower tempo comes in but some great solos thrown in and gets heavier again to finish it off, Cristianofobia has a more mid tempo start but it has a very catchy feel to it, its death thrash and comes with that certain punch the track has more drive as it goes on and I like break near the end when the solo breaks in and gives this glorious end.
Siete Craneos has this really twisted feel to it as the guitar riff that drives this really stuck to my head but then a break comes in and this really sweet lead comes in and the vocals take a step up, then a harder drives comes in with another lead thrown in that gave the track a good end.
(Interludio) Asmodea is just some fill before we get back into it on Orgasmic Death from what I hear is the only track sung in English and it gets right to the point as goes into head crushing vibe then a great part thrown in that slows the track down but its fucking heavy then it goes off again, good shit!
H.L.L. is one of the best tracks on here dedicated to the serial killer Henry Lee Lucas, this goes right for the throat right from the start and doesn’t let go, a total onslaught as all cylinders are at full force even with a minor break this hits the spot.
We finish with Historias Silenciadas and another pounder of a track with some killer tempo changes as it has a great vibe to it as the band really goes off here an excellent way to end this.
A solid release I would say something deaththrashers out there should give a listen to.

Well its been along time since I gave this band a listen, as I remember giving an ear to their first demo from 2018 and wanted to hear what would come of them and I seen they released a few singles in between and now this full length of death thrash.
From the first notes of the opener Tormented Mind, I could hear these guys had stepped it and where now ready to unleash this chaos on the underground and an assault of pure heaviness was to come, the ripping leads on here really impressed me and a very old school sound to top it off.
And it continues on Endless Abyss with a very heavy groove that pounds and the blazing leads on here really crush, fucking killer shit that will drill your ears, and Punished by Your Own Hand, this track really hit the spot with a heavy riff that pounds and then it up roars as it takes a new life that will leave you floored.
And from the previous track the whole album just went into another dimension as Burn the Church from the opening just goes for the throat! the vocals on here are right to the point, just pure evil the way it should be, and bashing keeps rolling on Into the Darkness as this storms in but then the breakdown which is slow but has so much feeling with a great lead and then after a such awesome reprise as it gets heavy as hell an excellent track!
Darkspell the track is straight on with some blazing leads that deliver but what comes next on Gates of Hell, well here you have another onslaught as this has all you would want as this will crush you, want extreme this is it!
As we near the end the raging continues on Evil Returns the guitar work on here is ravishing and will leave you floored, a very catchy number as you can hear in the vocals and the band never gives up as the closer Otherside is brutal as it should be as this pounds and when it goes off this delivers the guitar leads left me with grin of delight.
You want to talk about a excellent piece of underground release, give this a yell to the fuckers that don’t know this is gem, total support!

Well the wait is over after the bands brilliant debut here we have this long awaited second slab.
The band has definitely matured since the first, this release absolutely crushes!
The chaos is spread out through this with great riffs of catchy shit to please all the fuckers out there, all the tracks have a high intensity to them, nothing new to the genre but it has all the good dose you could want.
There isn’t any standout points on here as they are all there, me being an old school metalhead I had this grin of delight as I listened to this.
This is heavy shit and I highly recommend it as it will crush you!
Release date: September 30th, 2020
Label: Iron, Blood and Death Corporation
Well where do I even begin as this band has only two demos released and awhile back, as I listened to one of their earlier demos they have really matured from then and now and have risen with a brilliant full length of death/thrash.
This is one of those albums that caught my attention from the first listen, the opener On Being and Becoming goes right for the throat, I was taken on how good the band sounds, lots of good hooks all over the track, ripping leads and the vocals are just right, you can understand them perfectly.
And basically this is what is offered here, there is no dull moment on this as there is plenty of neck breaking madness to get your fill to.
And to add on the track Epinomis some keyboards are thrown in and fit just right as they come in when the track breaks down and then goes off in the end.
This concludes with Witchery War which is the only old track on here and sounds way better than the original and a good closer to this.
All I can say this a must have to your collection this album slays!! one of the best of the year.
Release date: April 25th, 2020
Label: Nyarlathotep Records, Deranged for Leftovers Productions, Impaled Records
Yes this is a compilation released by Brazilian labels this year with the first two full lengths and the first EP but as a bonus we get the 2020 EP Metal Venenoso which I will be reviewing here, the Chilean pressing has the same tracks but the bonus is a remastered demo plus some live tracks.
One thing that I hear is this band has gotten better with age, if you enjoyed the production on their last full length it has carried over to this.
Metal Venenoso, right to the point with a heavy riff to start then into the driving fast paced shit! before breaking down to this real heavy part you hear the bass is heard and then some ripping lead and after that the blows up into oblivion, just what I expected total killer.
And it continues on Que dancen las brujas, as this comes out more storming and if your familiar with the band you know what I mean, this is an all out assault on the senses, the break after the lead is fucking intense as hell a true nerve wrecker.
As there are only three tracks to the EP they chose to do a cover of Varathron in Genesis of Apocryphal Desire and they did a great job as it sounds better do to the production, a great cover.
Just some more killer shit to add to the bands discography, these guys are already known worldwide and one of the scenes best as they have already been to Europe to spread their mayhem, hope a new full length is next.
