Hellish – The Spectre of Lonely Souls (2018)

Hellish
Release date:August 31st, 2018
Label:Unspeakable Axe Records

Well this band needs no introduction by now as one of the more popular bands on the scene with their signature blackened thrash that has old school vibes written all over it and I been waiting for this second full length since the last one.

This starts out with a piano based intro and then The Night comes in this track was on 2017 demo they released as well as the other two that are on here but sound much better as the production increased, It’s a straight out headbasher from the start and by now you know the band delivers to a tilt, dueling leads smashing drums that sort of shit is what this whole album is about.

Scream Comes from Inside one of the new tracks on here is so killer as Necromancer (Bass,Vocals) really goes off on this one in true evil form which adds depth to the track, it continues on through out, Souls of Desolation took me by surprise when I first heard it, as it’s a pace breaker for the album as it starts out with a slow tempo but then breaks loose then returns in the end to the riff it started out with that fades out, turned out to be one of my favorite tracks on here.

The rest of the album kills, The Walker of Shadows which the shortest track on here really smokes and another highlight featured on here just like the closer Bloody Tales which basically leaves you floored with some killer speed tempos that really moved me.

This never disappointed from start to finish as it’s a little bit after 30 min long of pure head bashing mayhem, I really would recommend this to anybody, because it’s good for the genre.

Here is the gig they did the presentation for the album, I just hope these guys can get out of Chile and spread this to others to enjoy.
